THE WORLD DOG SHOW
PARIS 2011

Nine of us arrived in Paris with 6 PONs (and 1 Catalan) after a minor mishap with a broken down car and two replacement cars and found the site fairly easily. The struggle through vetting was easier than expected especially as we wouldn’t have to be vetted the next day.
It was delightful to see all the Pons being judged both at the French National show and the World Show. To my untutored eyes all a very good standard with not a few I could have taken home. To see videos of the line ups click the links bellow

At the French Show two UK exhibitors were successful.
Dog CAC  Kevin & Christine Burdett-Coutts & Dobrany Dorianblue Grzmot at Chrevele JW ShCM
Bitch RCAC Terrie Cousins-Brown & Dobrany Doriablue Ixcite.
At the World Sshow
The BCAC & BOB was Anna Dominiak & Ponadto Trela Morela, who followed this with BOB/CACIB/CAC
Highest placed UK owned dog with the RCAC Terrie Cousins-Brown & her bitch Dobrany Doriablue Ixcite.

A lively ‘facebook’ party was enjoyed by all after the judging with food and drink brought from all over Europe. It was lovely to see old friends and make new ones. We are so lazy and our language skills were rarely tested, but our French caused confusion on at least one occasion.

Our thanks go to all who provided such a tasty interesting party table

Like all good trips it didn’t all go without hitches == the most annoying and worrying was the Vet who was booked by the show to give the pour on and wormer for our Pet Passport didn’t get up early on a Sunday so was two hours late. But it did get done and we all negotiated the Pet Passport inpection and arrived safely back in the UK

There is already thoughts of going to the next World Dog Show in Salzberg  Anyone interested?
